Jagan Mohan Reddy previously applied for exemption from personal appearance, citing his responsibility as the CM as the reason.  However, the CBI Court rejected the plea, stating Jagan Mohan Reddy could misuse his power and manipulate the evidence related to the case.

Finally, on the 17th of January, the CBI Court granted him exemption from personal appearance.

Jagan Mohan Reddy skipped today’s hearing after the Court agreed to grant him exemption from attending the hearing.

The next hearing of the case is scheduled on the 24th of January.
