Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP) and the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) commented about the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)

Mr. Naidu, on the 15th of July, took a dig at the YSRCP Government and said, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of AP, is following the footsteps of his father, late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 2004 to 2009. He was a member of the Indian National Congress (INC,) which was in power in the State at the time.

He also compared the current situation to the time when Rajasekhara was the CM of AP. He said, during the YSR rule under the INC, they carried out 26 inquiries against the TDP. The inquiries were carried out against committees, including the Cabinet sub committees and the judiciary committees, but they could not prove anything against them.

Similarly, now, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is doing the same and will not be able to prove anything against the TDP and its leaders.

The comments of Naidu came during a teleconference with the TDP leaders. During the teleconference, Naidu said, the YSRCP Government is alleging the TDP of corruption, which is baseless.

Chandrababu Naidu also suggested, with the baseless corruption allegations, the YSRCP Government is wasting valuable time.

The YSRCP Government, in order to establish a corruption free and transparent government in AP, initiated steps against the former TDP Government, alleging it of being corrupt.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also ordered the demolition of all the illegal construction done during the rule of the TDP, starting with the Praja Vedika building and the residence of Chandrababu Naidu.

Stay tuned for further updates.
