Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) on the 5th and the 6th of September, will go on a two day tour to East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh (AP.)
During his two day visit, Chandrababu Naidu will review the TDP’s work in the villages and will meet the TDP leaders, activists and workers of the region.
The tour could be an attempt of the TDP President to revive his Party, after the Party’s disastrous defeat in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections of AP.
The two day tour is also said to be a strategy of the TDP to strengthen the Party in the less developed areas of the district.
On the 5th and 6th of September, Naidu, accompanied by a few TDP leaders, will visit Kakinada and address the party workers and activists near Achampet.
The TDP is one of the strongest opponents of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) the ruling Government of Andhra Pradesh.
The TDP leaders of Kakinada will organise the meeting and will supervise the arrangements for Mr. Naidu’s visit.
Mr. Naidu is expected to return to Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh on the 6th of September.
