CM YS Jagan And CM Yediyurappa To Participate In Srivari Garuda Seva In Tirumala

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and B.S. Yediyurappa, the CM of Karnataka, are all set to participate in Srivari Garuda Seva, scheduled in Tirumala, A.P.

According to sources, both the chief ministers would visit Tirumala Tirupati temple to be a part of yearly Brahmaotsav.

In regard to this, on the 22nd of September, the Tirupati Urban District Police and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) officials jointly conducted CM convoy trial. The trail was conducted from Renigunta Airport to Tirumala hills.

Ramesh Reddy, the Tirupati Urban Superintendent of Police, Gopi Nath Jetti, the TTD Chief Security Officer are directed to supervise all the arrangements of the CMs visit.

The annual celebration at lord Sri Venkateswara Swami temple started from the 19th of September and would continue till the 27th of September.

The grand event was organised considering the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 situation in Andhra Pradesh.

All the protocols and guidelines of the COVID-19 including social distancing were followed.

While the celebrations began from the 19th of September, the Karnataka CM and the A.P., CM would be participating from the 23rd of September.

CM Jagan will arrive at Renigunta Airport on the 23rd of September by 3:50 P.M., for a two day tour of Tirumala. He would reach Tirumala hills by road on the same day at 5 pm. By 6:20 P.M., he would attend the famous ritual of Garuda Seva, the celestial procession, during which he would present traditional silk robes to the processional deity on behalf of the State Government.

Later, on September 24 morning both CMs will lay the foundation stone for Karnataka choultries new building construction, which was funded by the Karnataka State Government.

Inspector General intelligence Sesidhar Reddy and other officials are on duty for making foolproof security arrangements.

In regard to this, on the 21st of September, the IG conducted a special meeting with urban police officials over security of two states CMs bandobust.

Meanwhile, police are only allowing darshan ticket holders to Tirumala, remaining all were stopping at Alipiri Checkpost during the Brahmostvam days. In this regard they issued a press note for public information too.
