CM YS Jagan Conferred Best CM Of Year Award, SKOCH Chairman Presents Award In Vijayawada

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, won the Best Chief Minister of the Year, award. 

On the 16th of February, the SKOCH Institute started the SKOCH Award in 2003. The Institute contribute in making India better Nation ajd highlight work of people of India towards its growth and development.

They give awards to common people and mighty who are working for the betterment of India.

The SKOCH Award covers the best of efforts in digital, financial and social inclusion. It encompasses the best of governance, inclusive growth, excellence in technology and applications, change management, corporate leadership, corporate governance, citizen services delivery, capacity building and empowerment.

This year SKOCH conferred the prestigious Best CM of the Year award to Mr. Reddy.

The award was given by the SKOCH, India’s leading Institute for the analysis of growth and development of India.

According to the sources, based on a year long study of governance in Andhra Pradesh, the institute selected Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy as the best Chief Minister.

Sameer Kochhar, the Chairman of the SKOCH Group, gave the award to Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Mr. Kochhar said, “YSR Rythu Bharosa Kendra stands out as an interesting model for village level procurement at a pre-announced MSP and is reporting good outcomes for the farmers. (The) YSR Cheyutha Scheme focuses on economic empowerment of middle aged women through giving them livelihood linked loans for over 4 year period is again a great example of financial inclusion with outcomes. Similarly, schemes like Disha and Abhay that aim to enhance women safety and security have made a marked difference in the law and order perception as well as (the) confidence level of women to go out and participate without fear.”

The award was given by Mr. Sameer personally at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

Highlighting good works and several welfare projects of Mr. Reddy led Andhra Pradesh Government, Sameer Kochar said, “The State has taken several revolutionary measures in the past two years to make governance more efficient and transparent. Innovative measures have been taken across sectors, the credit for which goes to Chief Minister Reddy. Such changes are focused on bringing more efficiency and transparency and ensuring inclusive growth and development.”

In addition, the preventive measures and steps to handle the last year’s outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus pandemic also was commendable.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) led Andhra Pradesh Government took various steps and controlled the spread of the virus in an effective manner.

This was a proud moment for Andhra Pradesh’s people who voted for Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
