Adhikulam Suresh, the Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) on the 19th of March, announced intermediate and 10th class examinations would be conducted as per the given schedule.
Despite the outbreak of the pandemic Novel Coronavirus , the State Education Ministry announced they would continue the exams, as previously scheduled. The intermediate exams would continue till the 23rd of March, whereas the 10th exams are scheduled till the 31st of March.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government would provide all the necessary facilities to the students appearing for the exams. Students with cold and cough would be screened in special rooms as well as medical examinations would be conducted for them.
Meanwhile, schools and educational institutions are asked to remain close till the 31st of March in the wake of the Novel Coronavirus. The Government issued an order regarding the same, which read, “We will review the situation once again after March 31 and make a further decision.”
The precautions were taken after Andhra Pradesh (A.P.) reported two cases of COVID-19. One was a resident of Nellore district and another was from Ongole, A.P.
