The Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Government resumed aviation services, a day after nationwide aviation services started operating.
On the 26th of May, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) started functioning of the domestic airlines from Gannavaram and Visakhapatnam airport with flight services across the Country.
Resuming after a two months gap due to the nation wide lockdown, the airport witnessed a large number of passengers. However, the passengers in the airport are asked to strictly follow social distancing, wearing face masks and allowed to enter after a thermal screening.
The airport staff and cabin crew attending the flights are asked to wear special protective clothing.face masks.
The State Government decided to operate flights from Gannavaram to Bangalore, Delhi and Chennai and from Visakhapatnam flights to Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad would be operated.
The aviation services started from the early morning of the 26th of May, with the first flight from Bengaluru to Gannavaram Airport.
On the other hand, airport officials are also running special buses for passengers arriving at the airport to shift them to quarantine centres, as per the State Government guidelines.
The YSRCP Government resumed aviation services with 7 days quarantine of passengers arriving in the State.
