N. Siva Prasad, a senior leader and former Member of Parliament (MP) of Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) passed away on the 21st of September in Chennai.
Mr. Prasad was suffering from a kidney problem and was undergoing treatment for the same in an Apollo Hospital in Chennai.
Siva Prasad, 68 years old, was initially admitted to a hospital in Tirupati, but due to his critical condition, he was shifted to Chennai.
He was even on life support for 10 days and was in critical condition. The news of his demise was confirmed by doctors at the Apollo Hospital.
Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the TDP, conveyed his condolences to the family of Mr. Prasad. On the 20th of September, Naidu also visited Chennai and enquired about the health of Siva Prasad.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, also shared his condolences and expressed grief about the demise of N. Siva Prasad.
