The Mangalagiri Court granted bail to Galla Jayadev, the Member of Parliament (MP) of Guntur and a member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)
Galla Jayadev was arrested on the 20th of January for violating the rules imposed by the police.
Galla Jayadev, while protesting against the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government, tried to enter the A.P., Secretariat while the Assembly session was underway.
After arresting him, the A.P., Police presented him before the Magistrate on the midnight of the 21st of January. The Magistrate denied him bail at the time and remanded him.
He was even shifted to the Guntur sub jail on the morning of the 21st of January.
However, on the 21st of January, the Mangalagiri Court heard the case against Mr. Jayadev and granted him bail.
A large number of TDP leaders gathered outside the Guntur sub jail and received Galla Jayadev.
