Mr. Pawan Kalyan, the Chief of the JanaSena Party, condemned the horrific train accident in Balasore, Odisha.
On the 2nd of June, Friday night, three trains collided leading to a tragic train accident that took place near Balasore in the state of Odisha. The incident which killed 278 passengers so far, and left over 1,000 injured, has left Mr. Pawan Kalayan in deep shock.
Condemning the unfortunate train accident, Mr. Pawan Kalyan said, “Information is being received that there are likely to be more passengers from the Telugu states in the Coromandel Express, Bengaluru – Howrah super fast trains that were involved in the accident.” He further urged state governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to make appropriate arrangements to provide assistance to the affected passengers and their families.
In the wake of this tragedy, actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan also urged the central government to pay immediate attention to security measures related to the prevention of train accidents and to ensure safety of passengers.
