On the 13th of February, the JanaSena Party got another shock after a senior leader decided to quit the Party.
Karanam Kanakarao, a leader of the Gajuwaka constituency, resigned from the Party and joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)
Karanam Kanakarao, on the 13th of February, joined the YSRCP Government in the presence of Tippala Nagi Reddy and other YSRCP leaders. Nagi Reddy welcomed Karanam Kanakarao into the Party with a YSRCP scarf.
Though Karanam Kanakarao did not reveal the reason behind his resignation from the JanaSena Party, the poor performance of the JanaSena in the A.P. elections is suspected to be the cause.
Besides Karanam Kanakarao, many other JanaSena leaders quit the Party in the past few days.
