The Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited (MEIL,) donated an amount of Rs. 2 crores to the Maharashtra Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) to fight against the Novel Coronavirus.

Maharashtra State has the highest number of COVID-19 positive cases, 781 positive cases, 680 active cases and 45 deaths.   

Besides Maharashtra and A.P., MEIL also helped Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha and Telangana.

In a letter written to the Maharashtra Government, MEIL said, “As a first step we are contributing Rs. 2 crores to the chief minister relief fund, please accept this humble donation from your trusted partner in infrastructure.”

MEIL also helped daily workers, doctors, health workers, poor people, police staff and media people who are working 24X7 towards the pandemic situation.

Meanwhile , India reported 4,502 COVID-19 cases and 125 deaths till date.
