Nara Lokesh Criticises YSRCP Government For Corruption In APPSC Group 1 Examination

Nara Lokesh, the General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) once again leveled some allegations on the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress (YSRCP) Government.

Nara Lokesh, on the 10th of June, criticised the YSRCP Government for corruption in the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) examination. Mr. Lokesh said the State APPSC examination has turned into the YSRCP Public Service Commission. He accused the commission of being involved in a major scandal and corruption in the public service exams.

The TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh conducted a virtual meeting with the candidates of the APPSC examination. The candidates complained of irregularities in the APPSC Group-1 Mains examination.

Nara Lokesh expressed his anger at the YSRCP Government for turning every system into corruption. He said, of the 9,678 qualified candidates who appeared for the Mains exams in December 2020, only 340 were called for interview.

Nara Lokesh criticized the appointment of non educated people as APPSC members and ignoring eligible candidates.

Mr. Nara Lokesh said there were complaints that the APPSC Group 1 Mains test evaluation was not conducted properly. While concluding the virtual meeting, Mr. Lokesh assured the candidates that he would support them and would ask for justice. Nara Lokesh demanded that the names, marks and answer sheets of the selected candidates be disclosed and to be reevaluated again with transparency. 

The YSRCP Government and its leaders are yet to respond to the allegations.
