Nara Lokesh, the General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) on the 12th of September, helped Bollineni Swarna Chandrika to participate in the Commonwealth Powerlifting Federation (CPF) Championships 2019.
The CPF is going to organise the powerlifting and benchpress championships 2019 in Canada. Powerlifting is a strength sport which is divided into three parts—bench press, squat and deadlift. This year, Canada is hosting the Championships in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Nara Lokesh extended Rs. 2.5 lakhs to Ms. Chandrika for the CPF Championships and assured her the TDP would support her in the future as well.
Speaking on this occasion, Nara Lokesh said he has faith in Bollineni Swarna Chandrika that she would win the CPF Championships and make India and Andhra Pradesh proud.
This is not the first time Nara Lokesh extended financial assistance to Chandrika. He supported Chandrika with an amount of Rs. 2.5 lakhs in the past as well.
Apart from Nara Lokesh, the non resident Indian (NRI) wing and the United Kingdom (U.K.,) wing of the TDP also supported the powerlifting champion.
Bollineni Swarna Chandrika and her family were happy and thanked Nara Lokesh for extending the financial support.
The 2019 CPF Championships will begin from the 15th of September and continue till the 21st of September.
