Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, on the 21st of March, declared his total net worth.
Pawan Kalyan revealed, he has assets worth Rs. 52 crores and his annual income in the year between 2017 and 2018 was Rs. 9.60 crores.
Mr. Kalyan submitted an affidavit, stating the net value of his assets to the Returning Officer (RO) of Gajuwaka, when he filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. In the affidavit, he mentioned his profession as an actor.
Pawan Kalyan filed his nomination papers in two constituencies, Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram.
According to Mr. Kalyan’s documents, he has movable assets of Rs. 12 crores, which include jewellery, bank deposits and vehicles and has Rs. 4.76 lakhs cash in hand.
Pawan Kalyan also owns property worth Rs. 38.70 crores, including 18 acres of agricultural land near Hyderabad and non agricultural land in Guntur and Hyderabad. He also has a house worth Rs. 1.75 crores in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad and his wife owns a one bedroom flat, valued at Rs. 40 lakhs, in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Kalyan also shared about his liabilities, which are worth more than Rs. 33 crores and include personal loans from banks, film personalities and family members.
Pawan Kalyan will contest the upcoming Andhra Pradesh elections, scheduled on the 11th of April.
The major parties contesting the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections are the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the JanaSena Party.
The results of the AP Assembly elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
