Pawan Kalyan Demands Justice For Vizag Gas Leak Victims, Slams YSRCP Government

Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, on the 18th of May, demanded justice for the victims of Visakhapatnam gas leak tragedy.

Mr. Kalyan said, the chemical leaked from LG Polymers had a negative effect on the public residing 5 km from the plant in Visakhapatnam.

Mr. kalyan slammed the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) for not responding positively to the victims and providing justice to them.  He said after the lockdown, public life has returned to normal and LG Polymers has made it clear that it will move in the same way it did in the past.

Pawan Kalyan addressed on the issue through a telephonic conference on the 18th of May.  JanaSena leaders attended the meeting and discussed the Visakhapatnam gas leak tragedy.

Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan said the LG Polymers disaster was alarming, which raised fears about how long and to what extent the tragedy would have effect of the toxic gases.

Highlighting the medical experts, Pawan Kalyan said, due to the tragic incident many health issued arose in the area.

Concluding his conference, Pawan Kalyan asked the YSRCP Government to take strict action against the LG Polymers and ensure to fulfil promises made during the election.

Meanwhile, the State Government, on the 18th of May, ensured the compensation amount given to the victims of the Visakhapatnam gas leak incident.

The State Government released Rs. 30 crores for the compensation and gave the victims through their bank accounts.
