Mr. Pawan Kalyan, the Chief of the JanaSena Party in Andhra Pradesh, held a press conference after meeting the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra.  The meeting was significant as they likely discussed the political growth of the BJP and JanaSena in Andhra Pradesh.  

On the 11th of November, Friday, Mr. Pawan Kalyan met with the Prime Minister of India at the Indian Navy Ship (INS) Chola in the Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam.  The meeting lasted about 30 minutes, during which PM Narendra Modi and Mr. Pawan Kalyan discussed ways to strengthen the BJP and JanaSena in Andhra Pradesh and other political visions for the party’s growth.  It is known that the BJP and the JanaSena formed an alliance in Andhra Pradesh, against the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and the opposition the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)

The meeting was scheduled in between the two days tour of Mr. Narendra Modi to Andhra Pradesh.  After meeting the PM, Mr. Pawan Kalyan addressed a press meeting.  During the media interaction, Mr. Pawan Kalyan said, “I met him last time in 2014 after he won the election and became the PM.”   He further said, “He enquired about several issues regarding the State and I told him whatever I know.  Modi’s visit bodes well for the State and its people.  The meeting will herald good days for the State.”

Besides Mr. Pawan Kalyan, Mr. Somu Veerraju, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President of Andhra Pradesh, also held a press meet regarding Mr. Narendra Modi’s visit and meetings.  

Mr. Somu Veerraju said several significant issues pertaining to the State and the party were discussed with Mr. Narendra Modi.  

Mr. Narendra Modi arrived in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on the 11th of November, to launch several projects worth over Rs. 10,000 crores, in the Telugu State.

On the 12th of November, afternoon, Mr. Narendra Modi would leave for Hyderabad and launch several significant projects in Hyderabad.  With this, Mr. Narendra Modi would conclude his two days visit of the two Telugu states and would fly back to Delhi on the evening of the 12th of November, Saturday.
