Mr. Pawan Kalyan, the JanaSena Party President and Tollywood star honoured folk artiste Mr. Darshanam Mogulaiah.
On the 5th of September, Mr. Pawan Kalyan handed over a cheque of Rs. 2 lakhs to the Telangana folk artiste. The folk artist plays kinnera, a musical instrument mostly played by nomadic tribes in Telangana.
It is to be noted, Darshanam Mogulaiah also featured and worked on the title track of the upcoming movie of Mr. Pawan Kalyan, Bheemla Nayak. The Bheemla Nayak title song was launched on the 2nd of September, the 50th birthday of Pawan Kalyan.
The JanaSena Party Chief also announced financial assistance to Mr. Darshanam Mogulaiah under the Pawan Kalyan Learning Centre for Human Excellence.
Besides Mr. Mogulaiah, Pawan Kalyan also honoured Mr. Dasari Ranga, a Telangana folk culture scholar and handed over a cheque of Rs 50,000 to him.
The JanaSena Party issued a press release regarding the same. The Party is also willing to introduce various traditional arts, especially the folk art forms that are on the verge of extinction, to young people.
Meanwhile, the noble act of Mr. Pawan Kalyan has impressed the Governor of Telangana. On the 6th of September, Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana, praised Pawan Kalyan for extending financial assistance to the folk artist and kinnera player Mr. Darshanam Mogulaiah.
Ms. Soundararajan said, the act of Pawan Kalyan is inspiring and would boost youths to show interest in folk music and traditional musical instruments, taking the folk music to new heights in the entertainment industry.
