Pawan Kalyan Meets BJP President JP Nadda

Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, on the 23rd of January, met J.P. Nadda, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) in Delhi.

During the meeting, Pawan Kalyan discussed the alliance of the JanaSena Party and the BJP.

Other major issues discussed during the meeting were the A.P., capital issue and the problems faced by Amaravati’s farmers.

For the past few days, Pawan Kalyan has been busy with several meetings regarding the alliance and the Amaravati issue.

On the 22nd of January, Pawan Kalyan met Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister of India.  During the meeting, which was held in Delhi, Pawan Kalyan informed Ms. Sitharaman about the economic situation of A.P.

Pawan Kalyan, who is protesting against the decision of the State Government to have 3 State capitals, said, “The YSR Congress Party Government has miserably failed to live up to the expectations of the people and destroyed their dream capital of Amaravati.”

The Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP Government decided to make Visakhapatnam, Kurnool and Amaravati Andhra Pradesh’s capitals.

However, the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council decided to send the bills passed for the same to a select committee.

Until the select committee approves the work of decentralisation, the development of the State capitals would remain halted.

Stay tuned for further updates.
