Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena, on the 7th of October, reacted to the Telangana State Road Transportation Corporation (TSRTC) strike in Telangana.

Mr. Kalyan criticised the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and said the decision of K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana to sack the RTC employees was inappropriate.

The JanaSena Party issued a statement, which reads the State Government should have thought about the employees’ demands instead of suspending them.

Pawan Kalyan shared his opinion about the ongoing strike and said it is disturbing news that out of 48660 employees, the State Government decided to fire only 1200 employees, whereas remaining will be suspended.

The reason behind the statewide TSRTC strike is a long standing demand to merge the State RTC with the State Government.

Pawan said the State Government and other trade unions and Joint Action Committee (JAC) should talk and resolve the matter.

The statewide TSRTC strike started on the 5th of October and is still going on.

Stay tuned for further updates.
