Pawan Kalyan Suggests To cancel PG/UG Exams In Andhra Pradesh

Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena party, on the 23rd of June, urged the State Government to cancel the undergraduate and postgraduate exams in Andhra Pradesh. 

Actor turned politician Mr. Kalyan’s suggestion came after the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government decided to cancel the SSC or class 10th exams in the State. 

In the wake of the Novel Coronavirus spread, the Andhra Pradesh Education department, decided to cancel the SSC exams and promote all the students in the State. 

Pawan Kalyan in a statement to media said, it would be better not to conduct any type of examinations to the students in the pretext of emerging dangerous situations prevail due to the increased cases of the Novel Coronavirus. He further said, the State Government should take appropriate decisions for students who are studying in the degree and the final year students. 

The situation is not in favour of conducting exams for students who prepared for semester exams for MBA, AG B.Sc, engineering, polytechnic, ITI etc. Students moving to towns and cities and travelling to exam centres from hostels was not advisable in view of their health, he opined.

Andhra Pradesh is witnessing a spike in the cases of the Novel Coronavirus since the past few days, resulting nearly 9,000 plus cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
