PM Modi Conducts Interaction Meeting With Heads Of Indian Embassies

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the 30th of March, conducted a video conference with the top officials of Indian Embassies in different countries over the Novel Coronavirus.

During the interaction with the heads of the Indian Embassy, Mr. Modi discussed the Novel Coronavirus, which has killed more than 27,000 people and infected approximately 7 lakhs people globally.

The Pandemic illness is also widely spreading in India with approximately 1,071 positive cases and reporting casualties of 29.

Mr. Modi said, “This was an unavoidable step taken to fight this pandemic, but it was also hugely consequential, as the closure of the globalized system has had an extensive and far-reaching impact upon the international transport system, financial markets and the global economy.”

The heads of Indian embassies and diplomats also discussed the global response during the interactive conference.

The news about the interactive, one of a kind session with the heads and senior officials globally, especially for such a pandemic situation was confirmed by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA.)
