Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to address the Nation at 4:00 P.M., on the 30th of June.
The announcement was made on the late evening of the 29th of June.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) took to Twitter and posted about the address to the Nation.
This would be 6th address to Nation since thee nationwide lockdown was imposed for the first time on the 24th of March.
PM Modi would address the major ongoing issue of the pandemic crisis, the Novel Coronavirus.
Another issue which could be a part of today’s address would be ongoing tension between India and China, after a clash in the Galwan Valley, Eastern Ladakh at the Line of Actual Control (LAC.)
In regard to the India-China clash, the PM Modi led Central Government on the late evening of the 29th of June, banned 59 applications of China.
The 59 Chinese apps which are now blocked in India include TikTok, Shareit, UC Browser, WeChat, ROMWE, Shein, Club Factory, Beauty Plus, Viggo, Likee, Helo, Viva Video and many others over security and privacy concerns.
In another major announcement, on the evening of Monday, the 29th of June, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA,) released guidelines for Unlock Phase 2.
The Unlock phase 2 would be imposed from the 1st of July till the 31st of July.
Mr. Modi’s nationwide address comes a day ahead of the beginning of Unlock phase 2.
