The Andhra Pradesh Government is all set to re open educational institutions in the State. 

After being closed for nearly 7 months, the polytechnic and ITI colleges in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled to be reopened from the 23rd of November.

In regard to this, the Andhra Pradesh Government is making all the necessary arrangements.

Anantha Ramu, the SpecialPrincipal Secretary of Skill Development and Training, on the 16th of November, issued an order regarding the same.

In addition, the classes would be held for a total of 180 days, 90 days per semester.

Extra classes would also be held on every second Saturday.

Besides polytechnic classes, ITI classes would also begin from the 23rd of November.

Classes for first year ITI students would begin later, from the 14th of December.

The decision to resume classes for polytechnic and ITI students was taken after the State Government started schools for students of class IX and X from the 2nd of November.

Due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19, the State education department was badly affected.

Students of schools and colleges had to suffer loss of classes and education.

However, with the end of the festive season and decline in the COVID-19 cases, the State Government is working to ensure safe reopening of the educational sector in Andhra Pradesh.
