On the 7th of June, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the Nation at 5:00 P.M., today.
The sudden announcement regarding PM Modi’s address to the nation was made by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
On the 7th of June, the PMO took to Twitter and posted a tweet, which read, “Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi will address the nation at 5 PM today, 7th June.”

The agenda/reason behind the sudden address to the nation is yet to be known.
It is to be noted, PM Modi’s address to the nation came at a time when India reported lowest cases of the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.) In the past 24 hours, India reported 1,00,636 new cases of the Wuhan virus, taking the active case tally to 14,01,609 cases.
According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to speak about the current situation of the Wuhan virus. He would also be expected to talk about the cities and states, which are unlocking lockdowns in a phased manner, starting from today.
However, the confirmed reason behind the sudden address to the nation is yet to be known.
