R.K. Roja Selvamani, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of the Nagari constituency rubbished Lagadapati Rajagopal’s exit polls survey of Andhra Pradesh (AP) Assembly elections.

According to the exit polls survey of Lagadapati Rajagopal, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will win the majority of Assembly seats and will form the Government in AP

Ms. Roja, a member of the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) criticised N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of AP.

Roja said, Naidu is using power for heritage, whereas Jagan Mohan Reddy is working for the development of the constituency. She further expressed her confidence in winning the AP Assembly elections from Nagari.

Ms. Roja said, Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will defeat Naidu and become the next Chief Minister of AP and work towards the development of the State.

Roja, the sitting MLA of Nagari is confident to rule for the second time and win the Assembly elections in the Nagari Assembly constituency.

During 2014 AP Assembly elections, YSRCP member, R.K. Roja won the elections from the constituency and became the sitting MLA of the Nagari constituency.

In the 2019 Assembly elections also, the YSRCP nominated R.K. Roja Selvamani as the MLA candidate from the Nagari constituency in AP.

MLA Roja contested the Assembly elections against Gali Bhanu Prakash, the MLA candidate of the TDP and Vinutha Nagaram, the MLA candidate of the JanaSena Party.

Andhra Pradesh conducted its Assembly elections, on the 11th of April for a total of 175 seats.

The major parties contesting the AP Assembly elections are the TDP, the YSRCP and the JanaSena Party.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
