Ms. R.K. Roja, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Minister, lashed out at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
On the 1st of August, Ms. R.K. Roja, the IT and Industry Minister of Andhra Pradesh asked why the Polavaram project could not be completed during the TDP regime and opined that Chandrababu is doing politics in flood areas. She further added, “It is ridiculous to say that Polavaram will be completed if Chandrababu comes back to power and questioned how a person who cannot develop his own constituency can convert the flood hit areas into districts.”
The statement of Ms. R.K. Roja, who visited Tirupati on Monday, came after Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu slammed the YSRCP Government for not supporting flood victim regions.
Reacting to the statements of Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Ms. R.K. Roja said that the people of Andhra Pradesh do not trust Chandrababu, adding, “TDP won’t get even 23 seats in the upcoming elections.” Ms. R.K. Roja said that it is strange that Chandrababu, who cannot make Kuppam a municipality, will make flood hit villages a district.
The YSRCP Minister Ms. R.K. Roja criticized that when Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu was in power, he incurred debts without developments. The minister further said that despite the cash crunch in the YSRCP Government, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is working for the welfare of the poor. Ms. R.K. Roja furthermore alleged that Mr. Nara Chandrababu used Polavaram as an ATM and is manipulating the people of Andhra Pradesh by misleading them against the ruling YSRCP Government.
