SEC Ramesh Kumar To Hold All Party Meeting Ahead Of AP Municipal Elections

On the 1st of March, the Andhra Pradesh State Election Commissioner (SEC) Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar is scheduled to conduct a meeting. The meeting would be an all party leaders meet, ahead of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal elections.

During the meeting, Mr. Ramesh Kumar would discuss the Municipal elections including process, arrangements and others. The SEC would also take a decision on the nominations received for the Municipal polls.

According to sources, general secretaries, vice presidents or presidents of the political parties are asked to attend the meeting.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) the Bharatiya Janata Party and the JanaSena Party would attend today’s meeting.

The meeting is scheduled to be held in the afternoon of the 1st of March.

Meanwhile, the Municipal elections for 12 municipal corporations and 75 municipalities / nagar panchayats are slated to be held on the 10th of March. Major parties contesting the elections are, the TDP, the YSRCP, the JanaSena Party and the BJP.
