All leaders of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chrisitan Cell tendered mass resignation to their posts on the 12th of January.
The decision was taken to protest against opposition the TDP National President N. Chandrababu Naidu’s remarks against Christians.
They alleged that Chandrababu had insulted the Christian community with his remarks.
The TDP leaders said that they were associated with the party for the last several years and expressed anguish over remarks made by Chandrababu against Christians.
They recalled the TDP supremo had offered prayers in churches. The mass resignation is a big blow to the TDP, according to political analysts
