D.A. Satyaprabha, the former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Chittoor and member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) passed away on the 20th of November.
According to sources, the formerMLA and the TDP National Vice President, took her last breath on the night of the 19th of November.
Ms. Satyaprabha, 70 years old, was admitted to Vaidehi Institute of Medical Sciences hospital in Bengaluru and was undergoing treatment for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
Ms. Satyaprabha tested positive for COVID-19 in October and was said to be in a critical condition from the 3rd of November.
D.A. Satyaprabha married industrialist D.K. Audikesavulu Naidu, who also was elected as the Telugu Desam Party MP from Chittoor in 2004 and was the Chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD.)
Ms. Satyaprabha joined the TDP and entered politics after the demise of her husband in 2009. She contested on the TDP ticket and won as the MLA from Chittoor.
The last rites of Ms. Satyaprabha would be held in Chittoor. Her body would reach Chittoor on the 20th of November.
N. Chandrababu Naidu, the National President of the TDP and other senior leaders of the Party expressed grief over the demise of D.A. Satyaprabha.
