TDP MP Galla Jayadev Moved To Guntur Jail

On the 21st of January, the Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Police moved Galla Jayadev, a Member of Parliament (MP,) to Guntur jail. 

On the 20th of January, the A.P., Police arrested Galla Jayadev for protesting and participating in a rally, ‘Chalo Assembly,’ with the Joint Action Committee (JAC.)

According to sources, while protesting, Galla Jayadev violated the rules imposed by the Police, following which, the Police took action against him. 

The Police registered non bailable cases against him and arrested him.  On the night of the 20th of January, the Police even presented Galla Jayadev before the Mangalagiri magistrate. 

At 12:30 A.M., on the 21st of January, the magistrate announced he would not be given bail and remanded him. 

Galla Jayadev was then shifted to the Guntur jail.
