N. Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Nara Lokesh, the General Secretary of the TDP, criticised Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP.)

On the 7th of November, Naidu took to Twitter and slammed the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for spending the public’s money on his house.

Chandrababu Naidu said the YSRCP recently granted Rs. 73 lakhs to fix the doors and windows of the Chief Minister’s residence.

Mr. Naidu said, “YSR Jagan’s government has allotted a whopping Rs., 73 lakhs to fix windows for his house! Now that’s one super expensive view at the expense of state exchequer! This comes at a time when AP is grappling with a fiscal mess caused by mismanagement in the last 5 months. Truly cringe-worthy!”

The YSRCP allotted Rs. 73 lakhs for the installation of high security doors and windows at Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s residence in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

The orders for the same were passed in October and the work is expected to begin soon in November.

Nara Lokesh highlighted the developments in his home town, Guntur and said soon after the YSRCP won the elections, Jagan Mohan Reddy got a road worth Rs. 5 crores built near his residence, along with a helipad worth Rs. 1.89 crores.

He further said the YSRCP also spent Rs. 3.25 crores to acquire extra land for the construction of view cutters at Reddy’s residence.

Moving ahead with the expenses, Nara Lokesh said in less than 5 months, the YSRCP Government spent Rs. 82 lakhs on building a “Praja Darbar” near Jagan’s residence, for people to meet him.

The expenses spent by the YSRCP for Jagan Mohan Reddy come at a time when the State is suffering from a financial crisis and issues like sand shortage and others.

In the past 5 months, the YSRCP Government spent Rs. 15.65 crores on the residence of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Stay tuned for further updates.
