Mohammed Mahmood Ali, the Home Minister of Telangana, on the 19th of June, inaugurated the Punjagutta steel bridge in Hyderabad.
The newly launched steel bridge is another project under the Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP.,) launched in a duration of one month.
Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Telangana State Cabinet minister also accompanied Mr. Ali during the inauguration.
The bridge facilitates a smooth flow of traffic from Nagarjuna Circle towards the KBR park.
The new Punjagutta bridge is a 100 metre steel bridge which was built at a cost of Rs. 5.95 crores.
The construction of the bridge has been completed in a tenure of three months. Majority of the construction work was done during the nationwide lockdown.
Punjagutta steel bridge is the fourth project under SRDP that launched in a duration of one month.
The other three projects are the biodiversity flyover, the RHS flyover at Kamineni and the LHS underpass at LB Nagar junction.
The new steel bridge would ease traffic between the route of Nagarjuna circle and KBR park.
