On the 20th of July, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board, released special entry tickets for the darshan of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy.

According to sources, on Tuesday (20th of July,) the TTD Board released Rs. 300 darshan tickets for the people.  

The darshan ticket would be given for the Darshan for the month of August.  Besides Rs. 300 darshan tickets, the board made an announcement for Rs. 5,000 worth darshan, available on the official website of the TTD, tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in.  The TTD Board would release one ticket of special darshan quota worth Rs. 5,000 for people everyday.

The ticket released everyday would also be available on a special app named Govinda, launched by the Andhra Pradesh Government.  The TTD started this special entry ticket in 2009, to make darshan at the temple easy for people. 

Tickets of various prices are available for the darshan of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy at Tirupati Temple in Andhra Pradesh. 

After the ongoing Novel Coronavirus, the Darshan at the Tirumala Tirupati Temple started.  However, the TTD Board is following all the guidelines and protocols of the COVID-19, mandating face masks and social distancing mandatory for the devotees. 

Meanwhile, it is to be noted, in the past 24 hours, as many as 17,073 devotees visited Tirumala and had donated gifts and money worth Rs. 1.7 crores.  In addition to this, a Hyderabad based businessman M.S. Prasad, donated a 5 kg (2 kg gold and 3 kg silver) sword ‘Suryakathari’ worth Rs. 1 crore. 

The engagement of devotees at the temple continued today, the 20th of July due to the special occasion of Tholi Ekadashi.  Devotees  gathered in large numbers to perform special poojas in the temple to mark the occasion.
