TTD Approves Annual Budget Of Rs 2,937, Set To Start Arjitha Sevas In Tirumala

The Tirumala Tirupatii Devasthanam (TTD) is all set to begin Arjitha Sevas in Tirumala Tirupati temple for devotees.

In regard to this, the TTD Baord approved annual budget of Rs. 2,937 crores for the year 2021-2022.  In this budget, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) decided to start Arjitha sevas for devotees in Tirumala.  The sevas would begin forok Ugadi festival for devotees.

The TTD Trust Board which met under the leadership of its chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy has decided to bring some more temples under the TTD and also to give TTD’s Kalyana Mandapams on lease.

Y.V. Subba Reddy said, The board directed the officials to frame policies for leasing out its Kalayana Mandapams. “Very soon, construction of Srivari temples will start in Mumbai.”

Though the Tirumala temple reopened in June last year after closure for pilgrim worship for nearly 90 odd days, TTD decided not to allow devotees for arjitha sevas owing to stringent Covid-19 guidelines that prevailed earlier. With cases in the state of Andhra Pradesh. 

TTD has now decided to resume arjitha sevas for devotees.  Specifically for the Arijitha Sevas, the TTD board sanctioned additional Rs. 9 crores.
