TTD Conducts Video Conference Board Meeting To Discuss Opening Of Temple

On the 28th of May, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) trust, conducted its first video conference board meeting after the nationwide lockdown was announced.

Y.V. Subbareddy, the Chairman of the TTD conducted the meeting at the Tirumala Annamayya Bhavan on the afternoon of the 28th of May.  The meeting was attended by other members through video conference.

In today’s meeting, the TTD trust took several key decisions regarding financial and reopening of the temple.  The meeting was organised after the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government issued an abeyance and asked the TTD board to reconsider the decision regarding the public auction of the Tamila Nadu property donated by devotees.  The decision to sell 50 properties of Tamil Nadu was taken due to the losses which occurred in the past two months.

The TTD is also preparing for the post lockdown situation such as precautions during the time, social distancing norms, once it would reopen.

Mr. Y.V. Subba Reddy would brief the media about the meeting and  would announce the key decisions taken during the meeting today.
