A 21 year old woman commited suicide in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Though the incident took place on the 16th of June, it came to light days later on the 20th of June.
Sad over the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the woman hanged to death.
Recently, on the morning of the 14th of June, actor Sushant Singh Rajput, allegedly commited suicide by hanging himself. The actor was said to be depressed. Many Bollywood celebrities also claim his death due to nepotism and being boycotted by Bollywood.
The woman was watching movies of Sushant Singh Rajput and allegedly hanged herself.
The Visakhapatnam Police reached the spot and started an investigation.
K. Durga Prasad, the Inspector of Malkapuram police station, said that it is possible that Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was not the main reason but served as a trigger. The woman was also reported undernourished and her growth had stunted.
This is the third such suicide in less than 10 days after his demise.
A 13 year old girl from Odisha also commites suicide hearing upon the death of her favorite actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
A teenager in Port Blair also commited suicide. Another minor in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, a class X student died by suicide after being bullied for his effeminate nature. According to a report in The Logical Indian, the teenager hanged himself a day after telling his brother that when an actor like Sushant Singh Rajput could commit suicide, then he too could do it.
Such cases raised sensitive issue of depression and mental health.
