Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, an Indian National Congress (INC) member, is the richest candidate in the Telugu States, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, representing the Party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Konda Vishweshwar Reddy is an INC candidate, who is contesting from the Chevella constituency in Telangana.

Konda Vishweshar Reddy has a total net value of Rs. 895 crores, which makes him the richest candidate of the INC in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Movable Assets

Vishweshwar Reddy owns a total of Rs. 223 crores, whereas his wife, K. Sangita Reddy, the Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals, has movable assets worth Rs. 613 crores.

Konda Vishweshwar Reddy’s son also has movable assets of Rs. 20 crores.

Immovable Assets

Mr. Reddy and his family own immovable assets valued at Rs. 37.81 crores, out of which, assets worth Rs. 39 crores are owned by Vishweshwar Reddy and the remaining Rs. 1.81 crores by his wife.

The net value of Vishweshwar Reddy was declared after he submitted his affidavit to the Returning Officer (RO) of Chevella, while filing his nomination papers.

Although Vishweshwar was declared as the richest candidate in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, neither his family members nor he own a car or any other vehicle.

He submitted his nomination papers to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana, scheduled on the 11th of April.

The major parties contesting the Lok Sabha elections in Telangana are the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the INC.

The results of the Telangana Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
