Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 8th of July, paid tribute to late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the former Chief Minister of AP.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, visited Y.S. Ghar in Idupulapaya, Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh.

Jagan, along with his family, celebrated late Y.S. Rajasekhara’s 70th birth anniversary and also ordered the distribution of an increased monthly pension amount from the 8th of July, as the ‘YSR Pension Gift.’

Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) on the 8th of July, will distribute an increased amount of Rs. 2,250 to the beneficiaries.

The State Government will conduct the programme of distributing pensions as a celebration, which is scheduled to be held for 3 days, from the 8th of July to the 10th of July.

The YSRCP Government released a total of Rs. 139.97 crores for the pension across Andhra Pradesh.

The birth anniversary of late Rajasekhara Reddy is also celebrated as Farmers’ Day in Andhra Pradesh.

After paying tribute to Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Jagan Mohan is scheduled to tour Idupulapaya and meet the people living there.

He will also conduct a campus sabha starting at 11:15 A.M., at Jammalamadugu, Kadapa.

Mr. Reddy is expected to be back in Vijayawada around 1:30 P.M., on the 8th of July.
