Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 9th of August, launched an international Diplomatic Outreach Programme in Vijayawada, AP.

The event was organised in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs of India.  Fifty delegates from 30 nations participated in the event, which will focus on the development of AP.

Speaking at the event, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy thanked the Central Government for extending its support for this unique initiative.

Expressing how proud he is of AP, Jagan Mohan Reddy said although the State does not have tier one cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore or Chennai, it has its inherent strengths and 975 kilometres (km) of coastal line, including 4 ports.

Later, Jagan Mohan Reddy spoke about the agenda of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) which is to establish a transparent and corruption free government in the State.

Jagan also appreciated the YSRCP for securing 151 Assembly seats and 21 Lok Sabha seats in the AP elections.  He also highlighted his good relationship with the Government of India (GoI) and the Government of Telangana.

Jagan also shared the plan of the YSRCP in terms of foreign trade and said, “I can give one or two very important accepts what would actually be a deal for each one. Today most of the governments suffer in providing corrupt free government and giving transparent policies. This I take pride to say that our government here is committed to offering corrupt free governance and transparent policies in place.”

Speaking about the importance of fair policies, Jagan said a fair policy is essential to attract investments.  He further added the YSRCP will stand like a role model and be honest in providing its services to any organisation.

The event was attended by YSRCP ministers B. Rajendranath Reddy, M. Gotham Reddy, B. Satyanarayana, L.V. Subrahmanyam, the Chief Secretary of AP and other officials of the YSRCP.
