Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) met M. Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President of India.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is on a two day visit to Delhi. He went to Delhi on the 6th of August and will be back on the evening of the 7th of August.
On the 6th of August, Mr. Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India and Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister of India.
During the meeting, Jagan Mohan Reddy discussed some key issues faced in Andhra Pradesh and also spoke about granting special status to Andhra Pradesh. They also discussed the promises made during the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh into the State of Telangana and State of Andhra Pradesh.
On the second day of the tour, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy met Venkaiah Naidu and discussed some major issues in Andhra Pradesh.
After meeting Venkaiah Naidu, Jagan is scheduled to meet Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India.
YSRCP MPs V. Vijayasai Reddy, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Adala Prabhakar Reddy and Nandigam Suresh also accompanied the Chief Minister of AP on his visit. Y.S. Jagan is expected to be back from Delhi on the 7th of August.
