Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, started his family vacation from today, the 26th of August.
It is to be noted, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) President Mr. Reddy is vacationing in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The Andhra Pradesh CM planned the trip with his family to celebrate his 25th wedding anniversary, which is on the 28th of August.
Earlier, there were reports that Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his wife Y.S. Bharati were going to celebrate their wedding anniversary in Europe. However, due to the ongoing Wuhan virus pandemic, the couple changed their plan and instead are going to Shimla.
According to sources, the Jagan Mohan Reddy family left for Chandigarh on a special flight from Gannavaram Airport 12:30 P.M. The couple is going to stay at the Oberoi Hotel in Shimla. They would be spending their time in and around Shimla for three days and are expected to return to Andhra Pradesh by the evening of the 29th of August.
In addition, the three days Shimla trip of Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy is extremely personal as he would be celebrating the silver jubilee of his wedding. Since the trip is a personal one, the expenditure of Mr and Mrs. Jagan Mohan Reddy would be borne by themselves and not by the State Government money.
The Shimla trip would work as a needed break from the hectic State politics and responsibilities as the Chief Minister of a state. Since the pandemic broke out, this is the first time, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy took a personal trip and got leisure time to spend with his family.
