Anil Kumar, the brother in law of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, was recently involved in an accident.
The accident took place on the morning of the 15th of February while Anil Kumar was travelling from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. Though the accident was said to be a major one, Anil Kumar sustained minor injuries due to the car’s airbags, which opened immediately at the time of the accident. Anil Kumar is the husband of Y.S. Sharmila, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister.
The reason behind the accident is said to be the driver’s carelessness. According to sources, while taking a turn, the driver lost control and the car rammed into a barricade near Garikapadu check post, Jaggayyapeta mandal, Krishna district.
Apart from Anil Kumar, Mr. Kumar’s bodyguard and driver also sustained injuries. Government Whip Udayabhanu Samineni rushed to the accident spot and took the three to M.J. Naidu Hospital, Vijayawada.
