Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, cancelled his scheduled Delhi trip on the 2nd of June.
Mr. Reddy was initially scheduled to visit Delhi amid the Novel Coronavirus situation and nation wide lockdown. Mr. Jagan was also scheduled to meet Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India during his trip.
However, at the last minute, the plan was cancelled due to unknown reasons. If sources are to be believed, Amit Shah prompted Jagan Mohan Reddy to cancel his trip. The official reason behind the cancellation of the trip is yet to be known.
Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy was in contact withe Amit Shah in the past few days. Recently, Amit Shah called Jagan Mohan Reddy to know the situation of COVID-19 in the State and precautionary measure to control the spread.
In Andhra Pradesh, 115 new case new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The State has a total of 3,791 cases of COVID-19 with 64 fatalities till the 2nd of June.
