After the recent allegations of personal remarks against Chandrababu Naidu and his family, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P., clarified the matter.
On the evening of the 19th of November, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said no one in the house has spoken about Chandrababu’s family members. He further said, the matter was brought up by Mr. Chandrababu Naidu himself made allegations against his family. He also said, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President Mr. Chandrababu Naidu created drama when the ruling party members challenged for discussion on the murders in A.P.
The State CM further said, although he was not in the house at the time of developments and asserted that he had been reviewing the heavy rains in the state with collectors. He also said he had seen Naidu talking emotionally when he came to the house and opined that Mr. Naidu is in frustration with the public outrage in the municipal elections and a decrease in the strength in the legislative council.
Continuing with the statement, Mr. Y.S. Jagan further said that Nara Chandrababu tried to divert the issue of farmers and the rain effect and made serious allegations on the ruling party members for the sake of his politics.
It is to be noted, on the 19th of November, Friday, during the ongoing Assembly session, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders made remarks against Ms. Bhuvaneshwari, the wife of Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The statements, which were said to be a direct attack on the opposition, TDP, left Mr. Chandrababu Naidu in tears.
Later, he also addressed a media conference at the TDP office in Mangalagiri. During the press conference, Mr. Chandrababu said that he had never seen such developments in his life and found fault for bringing his family into the House. He said he never humiliated anyone in his 38 years as a political career. The opposition leader said that he would step into the assembly only after getting a mandate from the people.
Mr. Chandrababu Naidu said he would not return back to the Assembly again until elected as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
