Amid a Nationwide Lockdown, the Andhra Pradesh Government conducted a video conference meeting to discuss measures taken to prevent Coronavirus spread.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P., during today’s video conference with the district collector, Jagan Mohan Reddy decided the supply of essential commodities and ration to the citizens.  In the wake of the Nationwide lockdown, many people are facing issues for getting necessary essential commodities, hence the concerned officials and collectors would take care of the needs of the citizens, so they need to violate guidelines of the lockdown.

On the 30th of March, the A.P., Government reported two new cases taking the COVID-19 cases number to 23.  Since the number increased rapidly from 19 to 23 in 24 hours, the YSRCP decided to strict the guidelines of the lockdown and distribute the essential commodities to people.

While cities and towns will be given permission from 6:00 A.M., to 11:00 A.M., to buy the regular groceries like milk, vegetables, fruits and other items, villagers would buy till 1:00 P.M.

Police would be deployed to ensure no one violate any rule or guidelines of the lockdown, which has been imposed till the 15th of April.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the 24th of March, announced a 21 days lockdown to prevent the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, India crossed 1,071 COVID-19 cases and casualties nearly 29. The lockdown would continue till the 15th of April.
