Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 17th of September, constituted the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) approved a board of 28 members, including the Chairman of the TTD and two other official members.
On the 22nd of June, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy announced Y.V. Subba Reddy would be the Chairman of the TTD.
The new TTD Board members are priests from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Maharashtra.
The eight members form AP are V. Prasanthi, U.V. Ramana Murthy Raju, D.P. Aantha, Chippagiri Prasad, Meda Mallikharjuna Reddy, Golla Babu Rao, Nadendla Subba Rao and K. Parthasarathy.
D.P. Aantha was also a part of the previous TTD Trust Board, under the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Government.
The seven members from Telangana are J. Rameswara Rao, D. Damodar Rao, Putta Pratapa Reddy, B. Parthsarathi Reddy, V. Bhaskara Rao, Mooramsetti Ramulu and K. Siva Kumar.
The four members from Tamil Nadu are Krishnamurthy Vaidyanathan, S. Srinivasan, Dr. Nichitha Muttavarapu and Kumaraguru. The three members appointed from Karnataka are Ramesh Shetty, Sampath Ravi Narayana and Sudha Narayana Murthy, whereas M.S. Siva Shankaran and Rajesh Sharma are from Delhi and Maharashtra respectively.
After the formation of the new Government in the State, the YSRCP demanded the resignation of the former members to appoint the new TTD Board members.
