Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 12th of November, inaugurated an AP Outsourcing Corporation.
During the event, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the Andhra Pradesh Corporation for Outsourced Employees (APCOE) website. The recruitment for the outsourcing jobs would begin from the 1st of January 2020 and a notification for the same would be issued soon.
Mr. Reddy said outsourcing jobs and contracts would help the outsourcing companies’ employees to benefit from the third party’s intervention. He further added the introduction of outsourcing jobs will also reduce the likeliness of bribery in the process of recruitment and make the process more transparent.
Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “50 % of the Scheduled Castes (SCs,) the Scheduled Tribe (STs,) the Backward Classes (BCs) and minority groups are eligible for Government outsourcing jobs.”
Jagan Mohan Reddy also said out of all, 50 % of the district level jobs would be provided to women candidates.
The AP Government set up the Outsourcing Corporation to ensure all the issues of the employees, including receiving salaries in an untimely manner, are resolved.
The YSRCP would announce the outsourcing job posts’ list by the 15th of December.
