Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 21st of October, visited Delhi. Mr. Reddy is on a two day visit to Delhi, during which he met Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India.
Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy met Amit Shah on the morning of the 22nd of October and discussed the various issues faced in Andhra Pradesh (AP.)
Jagan Mohan Reddy also discussed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and reverse tendering of the Polavaram Project. Initially, the meeting with Mr. Shah was scheduled on the 21st of October, however, due to the Assembly elections in Maharashtra and Haryana, the meeting was postponed to the 22nd of October.
After conducting a meeting with Amit Shah, Mr. Reddy met Ravi Shankar Prasad, the Justice and Information Technology (IT) Minister of India and Prahlad Joshi, the Coal Minister of India.
Members of Parliament (MPs) of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Vijayasai Reddy, Kanumuru Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, Midhun Reddy, Margani Bharat, Nandigam Suresh and Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy were present during the meeting.
