The Andhra Pradesh Education Department selected 7 public educational institutions for the Best Schools award, which is to be given on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day.
According to sources, as per the directions of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the concerned authority selected schools, which acquired 100% pass and the highest marks in the 10th public examinations.
The selected schools which would receive the mementoes are:
- Prakasam District’s Hanumanthunipadu Zila Parishad (ZP) High School
- Srikakulam District’s Kinthali ZP High School
- Vizianagaram District’s Tatipudi Andhra Pradesh (AP) Girls Residential High School
- Vizianagaram District’s Bhadragiri Tribal Welfare Girls Residential School
- Vizianagaram District’s Perumali AP Model School
- Prakasam District’s Rayavaram Girls Social Welfare Residential School
- Srikakulam District Vangara KGB Vidyalayam
Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the President of the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) would hand over mementoes to the schools. The event would be held on the 75th Independence Day Celebrations, on the 15th of August, Monday.
